Frances Meeks Gosnell. 91, of Indianapolis, IN (formerly of Lawrenceville) passed away Saturday January 31, 20009 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.She was born August 28, 1917 in Birds, IL. She was the daughter of Pringle and Julia (Emmons) Montgomery. She was first married to Joe C. Meeks. He precedes her in death. She then married Frank "Tiny" Gosnell. He also preceded her in death.She is survived by a son: Thomas and his wife Susie Meeks of Noblesville, IN, a daughter: Anne and Dean Rainbolt of Carmel, IN, 4 grandchildren and 9 Great grandchildren. 3 brothers and a sister are deceased.She attended Vincennes University where she earned a degree as a Registered Nurse. She worked as a Private Duty Nurse. She also worked as The Lawrence Township School Nurse for 25 plus years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville. She also attended Orchard Park Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.The funeral will be Tuesday at 1:00pm at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation is also Tuesday from 11:00am to the service hour of 1:00pm at the funeral home.memorial donations may be given to the Lawrenceville Camp Girls, the First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, or to the Orchard Park Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.
