Eva Stallard

Eva Stallard age 87 of Lawrenceville, Illinois died Saturday,March 13, 2010 at the United Methodist Village North Campus.She was born June 20, 1922 in Bridgeport,Illinois the daughter of Wilford and Chloe Newman Goff. She married Forrest Forky Stallard March 16, 1940 and he preceded her in death April 14, 1995.One daughter survives, Jarusha Emmons of Lawrenceville,Illinois. Also surviving are 2 granddaughters and three greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother and one sister.Eva worked at the Five Sisters Sewing Factory which was located in Lawrenceville,Il. for 25 years. She also cooked at the Elks Club for 22 years and the Lawrence County Senior Citizens for 10 years. She was a VFW Aux. member for over 50 years.The body of Eva Stallard will be cremated with no formal services being conducted.The Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
