Ethel J. Leib, 80, of rural Lawrenceville, IL passed away December 16, 2008 in Daviess County, IN.She was born September 5, 1928 in Lawrence County, IL the daughter of James and Edith (McBride) Green. She was married to Donald Leib who is also deceased.She is survived by 2 sons: Norman Leib of New Labanon, OH and Richard Leib of Danville, IN, 1 daughter Donna Herrin of Jacksonville, FL, 1 brother Harold Greene of Prospect Heights, IL, and 3 sisters: Jesse Mays of Waldo, AR, Pat Kiley of Chicago, IL, and Doris DuFrene of Fort Walton, FL, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. 1 daughter, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 grandchild is deceased.She worked at Johnson Controls for 22 years until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of the Central Christian Church.The funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at the Central Christian Church, 303 Buchanan Drive, Lawrenceville, IL with burial to follow in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Central Christian Church.Memorial Donations may be made to the Central Christian Youth Fund.
