Esther June Morgan, 81, of Vincennes, IN (formerly of Lawrence County) passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 in Hot Springs, Ark. She was born June 15, 1930 in White Plains, Kentucky, the daughter of James J. and Sarah O. (Goff) Wright.
Esther worked in the Physical Therapy Dept. at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital before going back to school and becoming a registered nurse. She then worked as a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN until retirement.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
Survivors include two sons Leonard Morgan and wife Fran of Bolingbrook, IL and Jeffery Morgan of Irving, TX; two daughters Stephanie Ford and husband Jerry of Glenwood, Ark and Darlene Skipworth and husband Todd of rural Bridgeport; 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday at Whitehouse Cemetery. There is no visitation.
