Ernest ‘Ernie’ F. Whitfield, age 83, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at his residence. He was born on January 19, 1940, the son of Elbridge and M. Velma (Berry) Whitfield.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Charles A. Whitfield.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 10:30 AM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Friday from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Sumner Cemetery.
