Eric Michael 'Mike' Nord

Eric Michael ‘Mike' Nord, 52, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. He was born July 21, 1964 in DuPage County, Illinois, the son of Eric D. and Virginia Kelly Nord. Mike was a Boilermaker. Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Dennis Nord. Survivors include one son, Daniel Nord of Bridgeport, Illinois; two brothers, Sam Evans of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Clyde Evans of Lake in the Hills, Illinois; and two sisters, Jennie Clark of Streamwood, Illinois and Ruth McDonald of Springfield, Missouri. Mike's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
