Emmalu Gardner

Emmalu Gardner, age 66, of Lawrenceville passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at her residence. Born March 20, 1944 in Lawrenceville, she was the daughter of Leo and Anna (Plough) McClaskey. She married Thomas Gardner April 13, 1971 and he survives.Emmalu was a homemaker. She was a member of Wesleyan Christian Church and VFW Womens Auxillary.Preceding her in death were her parents and three sisters.Survivors include her husband Thomas of Lawrenceville; one son Jeffery (Amy) Gardner of Fishers, IN; one daughter Jennifer Gardner of Lawrenceville; one brother David McClaskey of Dayton, OH; two sisters LaDonna Pinkstaff of Oklahoma and Lela Duckworth of Lawrenceville, as well as four grandchildren.Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home, 1303-12th Street, Lawrenceville, IL.Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.Burial will be in May Chapel Cemetery.
