Elsie C. Creech

Elsie C. Kelley Creech, 90, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville, Illinois. She was born on September 27, 1927 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Ruth (Jackman) Kelley. Elsie was a homemaker. Preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Johnny Creech; two daughters, Belinda Sylvania and Carol Gogulski; three brothers, Edward Kelley, Dick Kelley, and Robert Kelley; two sisters, Frieda Butler and Norma Julian; and two grandchildren, Shannon Gray and CJ Creech. Survivors include three sons, James Creech and wife, Jay, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Chuck Creech of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Henry Kelly and wife, Sandra of Lawrenceville, Illinois; two daughters, Darlene Weaver and husband, Lester, of California and Linda Gray of Lawrenceville, Illinois; ten grandchildren, Misty Ann Kelly, Siara Marie Kuhlig, Kelly Ann Doria, Anthony Doria, Charles Pinkard, Jr, Dwayne Kelly, Hannah Gogulski, Rebecca Gogulski, Hillary Reedy, and Jim Creech; several great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Orio Cemetery.
