Elizabeth Yvonne Curtis, age 89, of formerly of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Riverview, Florida. She was born on January 17, 1932 in Crossville, Illinois, the daughter of Charles Edward and Parnell (Large) Hansmann. She was married to Bobby Curtis, and he preceded her in death on November 29, 2005.
Elizabeth worked at a jewelry shop and was a florist. She played on a baseball and basketball league; and was a member of Eastern Star.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother; and one son, Timothy Charles Curtis.
Survivors include one son, Robert Michael Curtis and wife, Jackie of Hobart, Indiana; two grandchildren, Steve Curtis and wife, Melinda of Dover, Tennessee and Darin Curtis and wife, Lois of Decatur, Illinois; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM CDT at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
