Edward Tate, 75, of Lawrenceville passed away Thursday October 1, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN.He was born June 7, 1934 in Marion County, TN the son of George Milton and Flossie (Wise) Tate.He worked as a truck driver and a laborer. He was a Veteran of the Korean War.He sis survived by 3 sons: Edward Ransom Tate of Lawrenceville, IL, James Tate of Lawrenceville, IL, Eric Tate of Lawrenceville, IL, 6 daughters: Virginia Tate of Lawrenceville, IL, Mariea Tate of Vincennes, IN, Deloris Dunlap of Sumner, IL, Rosemary Tate of Lawrenceville, IL, Karen Crews of Lawrenceville, IL, Peggy Kolwalski of Petrolia, IL, several grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. A daughter, Sharon Tate preceded him in death.Private services will be conducted.
