Edna F. Scott, 96, Westfield, IN, (formerly of Sumner, IL) passed away Monday May 18, 2009 at Maple Park Village Nursing Home in Westfield, IN.She was born October 16, 1912 in Watson, IL the daughter of Fidelles Bristow and Iness Mae (Peters) Loy. She was married September 20, 1931 to the Rev. Bliss E. Scott who passed away May 23, 1993. He had Pastored at the Sumner, Island and Flat Rock/Pinkstaff Free Methodist Churches.She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bible Methodist Church in Westfield, IN.She is survived by 2 sons: Duane and wife Donna Scott of Sumner, IL, Daniel and Sue Scott of Canton, MI, 3 daughters: Nora (Scott) and husband Tom Ryan of Greenville, IL, Myrna (Scott) Potter and the late Rev. Rudy Potter of Indianapolis, IN, Rebecca (Scott) and the late Norman Powell of Cedar Springs, MI, 2 sisters: Ida and husband Ernest Pinne of Genoa, IL, June Pinne of Genoa, IL, 24 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Two sons, three brothers, three grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild are deceased.The funeral will be Friday at 11:00am at the Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Watson Cemetery, Watson, IL. Visitation is Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
