Dorothy L. Hager, 79, of Lutz, FL (former Billett resident) passed away at her residence April 8, 2009. Born August 10, 1929 in Ragsdale, IN, she was the daughter of William and Elise (Warner) Scales. She married Billy Hager October 19, 1944 and he passed away April 13, 1997.Dorothy was a homemaker and was affiliated with Billett United Methodist Church.Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law Michael B. and Jennifer Hager of Temple Terrace, FL; one daughter and son-in-law Trudy and Donald Heselton of Odessa, FL; one sister Selma Westfall of Vincennes, IN and six grandchildren.Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and one sister.The funeral will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, IL.Friends may call Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.Burial will be in the Billett Cemetery.Memorials may be made to Hospice or All Saints Lutheran Church Piano Fund, 5315 Vandyke Rd., Lutz, FL 33549.
