Dorothy E. Brown

Dorothy E. Brown, age 88, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Aperion Health Care in Bridgeport. She was born October 15, 1926, in Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire, England, the daughter of Albert and Elsie (Garlick) Smith. She married Hugh Brown in 1944 and he passed away in 2004. Dorothy was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville. Preceding Dorothy in death were her parents, her husband, one son Richard Brown and one sister Joyce Parcell. Survivors include one son Patrick (Angie) Brown of Lawrenceville, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Tuesday evening 6:00p.m. Illinois time with visitation from 4:00p.m. until the service hour of 6pm., at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
