Doris I. Withiem

Doris I. Withiem, age 71, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on May 22, 1945 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Henry Arthur and Nona (Doss) Mann. She married Harold Eugene Withiem and he preceded her in death. Doris was a homemaker. She loved to play bingo. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; one daughter, Connie Sue Withiem; two brothers, Jerry Mann and Walter Mann; and one sister, Sandra Lackey. Survivors include her two sons, Roger Withiem and his wife, Cindy, of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Douglas Withiem and wife, Laurie, of Washington, Indiana; two daughters, Sandra Shouse and husband, Kirt, of Vincennes, Indiana and Misty Henson and husband, Robert, of Lawrenceville, Illinois; 13 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. Doris has several Doss and Drummond cousins also surviving. Memorial services will be Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until the service hour of 6:00 p.m. CST.
