Donna Jean Sutfin

Donna Jean Sutfin, age 94, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Aperion Care in Bridgeport, Illinois. She was born on August 08, 1926 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of Orie and Nancy (Griffin) Jeffords. She married Richard Jerry Sutfin on January 13, 1951, and he preceded her in death on March 10, 2012.

Donna was a 1944 graduate of Bridgeport High School and attended the University of Illinois. She was an executive secretary in the marketing department for Texaco in St. Louis and Chicago. Her memberships included Eastern Star, Oil Petroleum Club, and DAR.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband.

Survivors include three nieces and one cousin.

Donna’s wishes were to be cremated, and no services conducted. Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence Public Library. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
