Donna M. Marley

Donna M. Marley, 76, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Friday January 21, 2011 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. She was born February 02, 1934 in Sioux City, IA the daughter of Burtis Alonzo Israel Hughes and Eva Clarinda (Hare) Hughes. Donna worked most of her life as a Nurses Aid at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville. She attended the Hi-Way Church of God.She is survived by a son David Burton and his wife June of St. Louis, MO, daughter: Jackie Burton Johnson and her husband Larry of Radcliff, KY, son: Aldon and Kelly Marley of Lawrenceville, IL, a brother Gene and Imogene Hughes of Bridgeport, IL, sister: Deanna Casey of Joliet, IL, 3 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1:00pm at the Hi-Way Church of God with burial to follow at the Sumner Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Memorial donation may be given to the American Diabetes Foundation.
