Donald L. York

Donald L. York, 88, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the United Methodist Village-North Campus in Lawrenceville, Illinois. He was born February 19, 1929 in Petrolia, Illinois, the son of Dora Ruth (Cullison) York. He married Doris Ullom on November 10, 1949 and she survives. Donald retired from Marathon Production. His memberships included the First United Methodist Church and the Elks. Preceding him in death was his mother. Survivors include his wife, Doris; one son, Douglas York and wife, Janet of Springfield, Illinois; and one grandchild, Jennifer York. Graveside services will be Friday, October 27, 2017 at 3:00 PM CST at the May Chapel Cemetery. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Donald's memory may be made to the First United Methodist Church. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
