Donald L Nash

Donald L. Nash, age 59, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in Lawrenceville, Illinois. He was born September 20, 1966 in Olney, Illinois, the son of Don Nash and Mary Lou (Tabor) Nash.

Donald was a certified crane operator and a proud member of IUOE Local 841. He also dedicated 14 years of service to the Lawrence County Ambulance Service. Known for his strong work ethic, Donald took great pride in his work and was respected by those who worked alongside him. Outside of his career, he enjoyed riding Harley motorcycles, attending concerts, and following NASCAR racing. Donald especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren. Fondly known as “Donny,” he was a natural jokester who brought laughter to those around him. His favorite holiday was the Fourth of July, and he greatly enjoyed celebrating with fireworks.

Preceding Donald in death were his parents.

Survivors include: children, Clinton Nash of St. Francisville, Allison (Tylor) Mathias of Lawrenceville, Olivia Nash of Marshall, Illinois; grandchildren, Autumn Lou, Rose Lynn, Ross Lee, and Tatum Lee.

Donald’s wishes were to be cremated. No formal services will be conducted.
