Donald L. Mcclure

Donald Lee "Donnie" McClure, 72, of Lawrenceville, IL (formerly of Sumner) passed away Tuesday July 24, 2012 at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville. Born November 19, 1939 in Calhoun, IL he was the son of Ollie Elworth and Lucille (Rutheford) McClure. On July 13, 1979 he married Marsha Lee Laney. They just celebrated their 33rd Wedding Anniversary. Don was a retired truck driver. He was a member of the Union Local 135. He was also a member of the Sumner United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife: Marsha McClure of Lawrenceville, IL, and several nieces and nephews. His parents, three brothers, and five sisters preceded him in death. A Graveside Service will be conducted Saturday at 11:00am at Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in Claremont, IL. Visitation is also Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30am at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be given to the family.
