Donald E. Drummond, 55, passed away November 6, 2009 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. Born October 14, 2009 he was the son of Donald W. and Lois M. (Powers) Drummond. He married Millicent "Cindy" Quick October 27, 1974 and she preceded him in death December 28, 2008.Don retired from Lawrence County Memorial Hospital after 26 years of service where he worked in the Laundry and Housekeeping Department. He was a member of the Lawrenceville Wesleyan Church on 6th Street in Lawrenceville, IL. Don was a past member of the Masonic Lodge #164.Don was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Cindy.Survivors include one son James Drummond of Lawrenceville; two daughters Donna M. Drummond and Wilma J. Drummond both of Lawrenceville; one brother Bill Drummond of Bridgeport and two sisters Donna Tohill of Mt. Carmel and Jean Laughlin of Lawrenceville.The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.Friends may call Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
