Delores F. Outler Higgins

Delores F. Outler Higgins, 71, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at her residence. She was born December 13, 1946 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Arthur ‘Dean' and Faye (Stevenson) Outler. She was married to Guy ‘Bill' Higgins and he preceded her in death on June 9, 2016. Delores was a homemaker, a seamstress, and a housekeeper. She was a member of the Bee Branch Church and the Lawrenceville Rod and Gun Club. Preceding her in death were her parents and husband. Survivors include her daughter, Regina Rudd of Olney, Illinois; one brother, Melvin Douglas Outler of Houston, Texas; one grandchild, Tara Skipworth; and two great-grandchildren, Deanna Leffler and Donnetta Rose. Funeral services will be Friday, November 23, 2018 at 12:00 PM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Otterbein Cemetery.
