David William Morris

David William Morris, age 69, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 at United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville, Illinois. He was born September 1, 1950 in Columbus, Indiana, the son of Donald Morris and Juanita Stonesifer. He married Denise Martin, and she survives. David worked at McKim's IGA for twenty years. He enjoyed listening to music and playing music. Preceding David in death are his parents; one brother, Tony Morris; and one sister, Donna Curtis. Survivors include: his wife; one step-mother, Debbie Morris of Centralia, Kansas; one sister, Pam Cavuer of New Albany, Indiana; and one half-brother, Don Morris, Jr. of Centralia, Kansas. David's final wishes were to be cremated; no formal services will be conducted. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations in David's memory may be made to Lawrence County Humane Society.
