David A. Bunting

David A. Bunting, 71, of Sumner, Il passed away Monday October 20, 2008 at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville, IL.He was born May 6, 1937 in Lawrence County, IL the son of Glen Albert and De Etta (Brown) Bunting. He was married to Shirley Alvord. She is deceased.Surviving are 2 sons: Roy A. Bunting of Carolina, Puerto Rico, Michael D. Bunting of Fort Irwin, CA, a step-son: James Alvord of Noble, IL, a sister: Cynda (Stephen) Van Cleve of Lakeland, FL, and 2 grandchildren.David was a retired heavy equipment operator and over the road truck driver. He served in the United States Navy. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.The funeral will be Thursday at 12:00pm at the Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sumner Cemetery. Visitation is also on Thursday from 10:30am until the service hour of 12:00noon.
