Darryl E. Robinson, age 59, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at his residence. He was born August 26, 1959 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the son of Delbert ‘Slim Lindy' and Agnes (Wilson) Robinson.
Darryl was the Road Commissioner for Allison Township for 18 years, he owned and operated his personal welding business, Robinson Welding Company, and he was a mechanic for Central Cigar, as well as a farmer. He was a member of the Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection District and the Moose.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors include his faithful companion, Morgan; as well as many cousins and close friends.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Sunday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the May Chapel Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the IU Health Cardiovascular Unit or the Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection District.
