Darlene C. Meeks, 76, of Brooksville Wesleyan Village, Brooksville, FL and formerly of Marion, died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Shands at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. She was a retired missionary and a member of College Wesleyan Church.Survivors include her husband Paul W. Meeks of Brooksville; sons Phillip Meeks of El Segundo, CA, Stephen Meeks of Great Falls, VA and Mark Meeks of Riga, MI; daughter Elizabeth Meeks Hornback of Roanoke, VA; brother Kenneth Laffoon of Tucson, AZ, sister Ruth Miller of Tucson, AZ and 11 loving grandchildren.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at Lawrenceville City Cemetery.Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Memorial contributions may be directed to College Wesleyan Church Building Fund or Global Partners Missions. Â
