Darlene Lionberger

Darlene V. Lionberger, 75, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Saturday April 14, 2012 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. She was born February 8, 1937 in Robinson, IL the daughter of William Elmer and Bonnie Belle (Rich) Trout. On November 27, 1958 she married Dean Lionberger. He survives. Darlene worked in the Purchasing Department at Marathon Oil Company in Robinson, IL for 38 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, IL where she was very active. She and her husband Dean enjoyed traveling. Along with her husband she is survived by two sisters: Leabelle Fuller and her husband Floyd of Belleview, FL, Lynette Trout of Effingham, IL, one brother Don and wife Dee-Dee Trout of Robinson,Il. a brother-in-law: Warren Lionberger and his wife Dorothy of Chatham, IL a sister-in-law: Jane Monts of Cardiff-By-The-Sea, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers-in-laws: Allen Monts, Paul Lionberger, Dwight Lionberger, and sisters-in-law: Lois, Muriel, and Betty Lionberger The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00am at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home located in Lawrenceville,Illinois. Burial to follow at the Robinson New Cemetery in Robinson, IL. Visitation is Monday from 5:00 until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to the First United Methodist Church.
