Danny R. Harrington

Danny R. Harrington, 57, of rural Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. He was born May 27, 1960 in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of William Tommy and Julia A. (Foreman) Harrington. Danny was an operations manager at Niehaus Lumber in Vincennes, Indiana. He enjoyed building crafts, horseback riding, golfing with family, and spending time with his granddaughter, Lana. Preceding him in death were his father, Tommy; one brother, Rick Harrington; and one sister, Nancy Hunter. Survivors include his mother, Julia Harrington of rural Flat Rock, Illinois; two sons, Nick Harrington and wife, Melissa, of Sumner, Illinois and Corey Harrington of Carterville, Illinois; two brothers, Bill Harrington and wife, Barbara, of Annapolis, Illinois and Noble Harrington and wife, Becky, of rural Lawrenceville, Illinois; and one granddaughter, Lana Marie Harrington. Funeral services will be Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
