Connie Hawley

Connie Hawley, 74, of Lawrenceville passed away Tuesday March 31, 2009 at the Lawrence County memorial Hospital.She was born May 11, 1934 in Crawford County, IL the daughter of Herbert and Mildred (Cannon) McCarty.She worked as a waitress when she lived in Michigan. She was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church in Bridgeport.She is survived by 2 sons: Mike Hawley of Indiana, Greg Hawley of Michigan, 2 sisters: Reba Goble if Bridgeport, IL, Mary Ambadjes of Waterbury, CT, several grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Along with her parents, a son, 3 brothers and 1 sister are deceased.A Memorial Service will be conducted Thursday at10:00am at the United Methodist Village North Campus at 2101 James St in Lawrenceville. Visitation is also Thursday from 9:00 until the service hour of 10:00am. There is no burial. Her body is being cremated.Memorial donations may be given to the United Methodist Village North Campus.
