Colleen Kolter

Colleen Kolter, age 65, of Las Vegas, Nevada and formerly of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed July 30, 2019. She was born August 23, 1953 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Margaret (Fiscus) Kolter. After graduating Lawrence Township High School, Colleen pursued a teaching career with degrees from Eastern Illinois University and the University of California, and taught English and Spanish. She was a member of First Christian Church Disciples in Christ in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Preceding Colleen in death was her mother. Survivors include: her father; one sister, Cathy Kolter of Lawrenceville, Illinois; one aunt, Dorothy Lantz of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and four cousins, Jamey Lantz and wife, BJ, of Ormond Beach, Florida, Penny Lantz Pruet of Sarasota, Florida, Krystal Pruet-Lantz of Macon, Georgia, and Bruce Fiscus of Aurora, Indiana. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday August 13, 2019 at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. There is no visitation. Memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice.
