Charles S. Meek, 87, of Sumner passed away Wednesday January 3, 2007 at the Lawrence Community Healthcare Center in Bridgeport.Born October 14, 1919 in Richland County he was the son of William and Eva (Judy) Meek. On December 13, 1941 he married Eutana Paddick. She survives.He is also survived by a daughter: Rita (Chuck) Stagg of Henderson, KY, a sister: Dorthy Waggoner of Salem, IL, 2 grandchildren: Leslie Coomes of Henderson, KY, Michael Stagg of Henderson, KY, and 2 great grandchildren: Gabrriell and Camden Coomes.The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00am at the Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Visitation is Friday from 4 to 7PM. Burial will be at the Chauncey Cemetery.Memorial donations may be given to the Stoltz Cemetery Fund.
