Charles Alan Fouts

Charles Alan Fouts, age 54, of rural St. Francisville passed away January 20, 2011 at his residence. He was born March 24, 1956, in Portsmouth, Virginia the son of Charles Edward and Billie (Byrley) Fouts.Alan worked as a heavy equipment operator with the Operating Engineers Union out of Terre Haute. He was a member of White Lightning Band as a bass player for 25 years. He enjoyed racing R/C cars.Alan was preceded in death by his father; one infant son Charles Alan; and one brother James.Survivors include his mother Billie (Byrley) Gillespie of rural St. Francisville; one son Christopher Fouts of Lawrenceville; three daughters Caytlyn Fouts, Cari Cessna and Crystal Fouts all of Lawrenceville; one sister Loretta Midgett of Robinson, IL; and two grandchildren Cybill Newland and Callie Cessna.Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.Visitation will be from 4 to 6 pm Sunday at the funeral home.Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
