Charles 'Chuck' D. Moyer

Charles D. "Chuck" Moyer, age 66, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Good Samaritan Hospice Care in Vincennes, Indiana. He was born December 19, 1947, in Bluffton, Indiana, the son of Clayton E. and Margaret M. (Draim) Moyer. He married Janice Robling on May 3, 1988, and she survives. Chuck worked at Packing Corporation in Vincennes, Indiana for 40+ years until his retirement. He was a member of the Harmony Society, Moose, Elks, VFW, American Legion, National Rifle Association, and the Lawrenceville Rod and Gun Club. Preceding Chuck in death were his parents and one brother, Steve. Survivors include: his wife, Janice, of Lawrenceville; one son Marcus (Carol) Moyer of Hazelton, Indiana; one brother Edd (Sandy) Moyer of Vincennes, Indiana, two grandchildren Shayna Moyer and Dawson Moyer, and a nephew, Brian Moyer. Memorial services will be conducted at 6 PM (IL time) Wednesday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 4 to 6 PM (IL time) at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Lawrence County Humane Society with envelopes available through the funeral home.
