  1. When Gappy left, the world grew quiet,
  2. Wrapped in falling snow and grace,
  3. Like heaven leaned a little closer

To guide him to his place.

  1. The wind slowed down its breathing,
  2. The earth turned soft and white,
  3. As God hushed all the noise of life

And filled the dark with light.

  1. No fear, no rush – just drifting peace
  2. On flakes that gently glide,
  3. Angel wings carried him

To heaven’s warmer side.

  1. So when the snow falls soft and slow,
  2. I’ll feel what it still shows –
  3. That love goes gently close to God

The morning He welcomed Gappy home.

With love, written by Taryn
