Chace B. Jarvis

Chace B. Jarvis, age 25, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013, in Gibson County, Indiana. He was born November 9, 1987, in Altus, Oklahoma. Chace worked at Fiber Tech in Evansville, Indiana. He served with the United States Marine Corps until he was honorably discharged in 2012. Survivors include his father, Tony Jarvis, of Vincennes, Indiana; his mother, Sandra A.(Steponitis) Carey and husband Matt of Irving, Texas; mother, Stacy McKim of Lawrenceville, Illinois; his fiancee' Chelsea Ivy of Evansville, Indiana; maternal grandparents John and Barbara McKim of Lawrenceville, Illinois; paternal grandparents Wayne and Gleta Edwards of Frankfort, Kentucky; half-brothers Gavin Carey and Hayden Carey of Irving, Texas and Josh and Zach Manley of Lawrenceville, Illinois. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles, Cindy and Danny Cummins, Ray Jarvis, Kim and Virgil Briggs, Dave Jarvis, Misty Bowman and Brett McKim. Funeral Services will be 1 PM Monday at Central Christian Church in Lawrenceville. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5 to 8 PM at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Memorials may be made to A.B.A.T.E. or to the Lawrence County Humane Society with envelopes available through the funeral home. Private burial will be conducted.
