Cathy Sue Jackson

Cathy Sue Jackson, 60, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Saturday February 14, 2015 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born April 7, 1954 in Lawrence County, IL the daughter of Mervin L. and Wanda Ruth (Waggoner) Thacker. She married Ed Jackson in December of 1983. Cathy worked at Supportive Insurance Services in Vincennes, IN. She attended the Island Free Methodist Church. Along with her husband Ed, she is also survived by a daughter: Charity (husband Bryan) Havill of Sumner, Il, step-daughter: Shayla (husband Dave) Hale of Vincennes, IN, step-mother: Leona Ruth Thacker of Sumner, IL, five brothers: Kelly Gene Thacker of Bridgeport, IL, Carroll Leon (wife Pam) Thacker of Sumner, IL, Michael Dean Thacker of Washington, IN, Jeffery Lyn (wife Liz) Thacker of Oblong, IL, John Rudolph Thacker of Sumner, IL, and three grandchildren: Parker Havill, Presley Havill, and Taylor Medlen. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00pm at the Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Waggoner Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 5:00 until 8:00pm. Memorial donations may be given to the Island Free Methodist Church.
