Carrol Vincent Sharum

Carrol Vincent Sharum, age 64, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Monday, February 07, 2022 at his residence. He was born on July 27, 1957 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, the son of Gerald Alva and Lucy Genevieve (Jones) Sharum.

Carrol served his country in the United States Army for ten years. He then went to work in construction, as a truck driver, and at a factory for 11 years in Noblesville, Indiana. He was member of the American Legion in Indianapolis and a former member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Donald E. Sharum and Joseph G. Sharum; and two sisters, Marjorie I. Sharum and Alice L. Sharum.

Survivors include two brothers, Bernard L. Sharum and wife, Ann of Tullahoma, Tennessee and Stephen M. Sharum of Lawrenceville, Illinois and three sisters, Marian A. Sinclair of La Porte, Indiana, Dorthy J. Shoulders of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Donna Sylvester of La Porte, Indiana.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM CST at the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery with military rites. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
