Bridget René Vincent-Lay

Bridget René Vincent-Lay, age 57, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Monday, October 20, 2026 at her home. She was born on August 18, 1969 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Jerry D. Moeser and Diana K. McGowen. She married Thomas Lay on August 15, 2026 at their residence in Lawrenceville and he survives.

Bridget was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family. She also enjoyed collecting rocks, hiking, camping, landscaping, and crafting. Bridget was known for her kindness and generosity, always showing care and thoughtfulness toward others.

Survivors include her husband Thomas Lay of Lawrenceville; her three children, Marisa Arnold, Shalyn Arnold, and Tyler Arnold; six grandchildren, Kinley Arnold, Kallie Arnold, Kash Arnold, Noah Anderson, Jaisek Wilson, and Launa Arnold; two brothers, Bryan Eric and Alex Seets.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
