Bonnie Sue Hess

Bonnie Sue Hess, 56, of Sumner, Illinois passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at her residence. She was born December 11, 1960 in Clinton, Illinois, the daughter of Gary Lee Burge and Clarsia Jane Edwards. Bonnie worked as a CNA at local nursing homes and hospitals. She was also a caregiver in her home. She enjoyed singing and music. Her favorite pastime was garage sale hunting. Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Gary Burge, Jr; and one infant son, Dakotah Levi Heath. Survivors include one daughter, Randi Pritts and husband, Dusty, of Sumner, Illinois; Randi's children, Montana, Landan, and Logan Heath that Bonnie adopted and raised as her own; a special nephew, Eddie Edwards of Albion, Illinois; as well as her best friends, MaryKay Branch, Sue Arms, and Lisa Shook. Graveside services will be Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM CST at the Sumner Cemetery in Sumner, Illinois. There will be no public visitation. Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner, Illinois is assisting the family with the arrangements.
