Bobby Stoltz, 82, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Sunday May 23, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born May 16, 1928 in Lawrence County, IL the son of Lawrence Pat and Edythe J. (Wright) Stoltz. Bobby worked as a Linotype for several of the area newspapers, and for about 20 years at the Mt. Carmel Register. He was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He was a lifetime member of the International Catholic Deaf Assn., and a member of the Benedictine Oblates St. Meinrad Arch Abbey of St. Meinrad, IN. He is survived by an aunt: Violet Stoltz of Lawrenceville, IL, an uncle: Earnest Watson of Bridgeport, IL, and several cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Wednesday at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville with burial to follow at Petty Cemetery. Visitation is also Wednesday from 10:00am until the service hour of 11:00am at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home.
