Billy D. Outler

Billy Outler, age 95, of Bridgeport, Illinois passed away on October 9, 2026 at the Haven of Bridgeport. He was born February 2, 1931, the son of Daniel Outler and Ethel Catterton Outler. He married Jeanie Alber Outler on August 18, 1950 and preceded him in death on September 29, 2015.

Billy worked for Inland Steel for over 30 years. He attended the First Christian Church in Bridgeport. Billy was known for being a hardworking, creative and caring father. He was especially talented in creative construction projects. Billy enjoyed playing golf in his leisure time.

Billy was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; his son, Bruce Outler and three brothers: Roger Outler, Glen Outler and Dean Outler.

Survivors include his son, Michael R. Outler of Bridgeport, Illinois and a brother, Lacey Gene Outler of Hammond, Indiana.
