Bill F. Weaver

Bill F. Weaver, age 93, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Arbor Rose in Robinson, Illinois. He was born on October 26, 1929 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the son of Elmer and Nora (McKeighen) Weaver.

Bill was a 1948 graduate of Lawrenceville Township High School. He served his country in the United States Army from 1951 until 1953, during the Korean War. He worked for Transformer in Robinson and then retired from Hershey in Robinson, after working there for 26 years. He lived in Robinson for 16 years, before returning to Lawrenceville. He raised cattle and horses, and enjoyed farming and riding horses.

Preceding him in death were his parents; six brothers, James Leon Weaver, Francis Malcolm Weaver, Hughes Alton Weaver, Blanchard Weaver, Glen Dewey Weaver, and Donald Eugene Weaver; and two sisters, Thelma Derethia Babb and Ruth Olga Broadhacker.

Survivors include one brother, Robert Weaver and wife, Mildred of Flat Rock, Illinois; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 12:00 PM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville Cemetery with military rites.
