Biography
Beulah A. Griffin, age 96, of Flat Rock passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. She was born May 12, 1915 in Dix, Illinois the daughter of William J. and Sylvia (Novalle) Griffin.
Beulah worked for the Kroger Company in Detroit, MI, Lawrenceville, IL and Vincennes, IN until retirement. She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Christian Church.
Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Leo (Mike) Griffin, Emro (Dutch) Griffin, Maurice (Speck) Griffin, James P. Griffin and Billy Glenn Griffin, and sister Bonnie Griffin Kenderdine, as well as a brother and sister who died in infancy.
She is survived by one brother Jesse K. Griffin of Bridgeport, IL, sisters-in-law Wenona Griffin of Pinkstaff, Earlene Snodgrass of Lawrenceville, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home with burial to follow in Pollard Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
