Betty Jean Graham

Betty Jean Graham, age 91, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Haven of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Illinois. She was born January 27, 1935, in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Aden Boatman and Ruth Marie Craig Boatman. She married Thomas Joseph Graham July 3, 1960, and he preceded her in death January 21, 1968.

Betty was a homemaker who enjoyed spending her time crocheting, sewing, cooking, and working on various craft projects. She also enjoyed watching television, especially Law & Order: SVU and NCIS.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband; siblings, Donald Boatman, Ivan Boatman, Byron Boatman, Harold Boatman, Reda Larch, infant sisters, Mildred and Lucille.

Survivors include: children, Victoria (William) Cozart of Lawrenceville, Brenda Keneipp of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Brian Thomas Hartley, Amber Lynn Hartley; great-grandchildren, Shane Hartley and Elliott Hartley; sister, Carolyn Senters of Marion, Illinois.

Private graveside services will be conducted.
