Benjamin Joseph "Joe" Pinkstaff, age 37, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away September 27, 2013, in Vincennes. He was born July 14, 1976, the son of Ronnie "Punkin" Pinkstaff and Pam (Case) Lucas. Joe worked in construction. He attended Community Baptist Church in Vincennes. Joe was in the Army Reserves, having served two tours in Afghanistan. He was a member of the Moose and VFW in Vincennes. Preceding Joe in death were his mother and one brother Bradley Wayne Pinkstaff. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Ronnie and Nola (Baud) Pinkstaff of Carrollton, GA, fiancee' Mary Barker of Vincennes, IN, one daughter Candace Brooke Pinkstaff of Watseka, IL; maternal grandmother Carolyn Case; one brother Ronnie Pinkstaff (Beverly) of Carrollton, GA; one step-sister Lisa Pope of Mahomet, IL and one step-brother Sean Pope of McDonough, GA, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be at 10 AM (CST) Thursday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM (CST) Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Price Cemetery with military rites.
