Barbara Lynn Caudell

Barbara Lynn Caudell, age 81, of Claremont, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, June 06, 2024 at Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on April 17, 1943, the daughter of Herschel and Hazel (Bare) Fritchley. She married David J. Caudell on February 11, 1962, and he preceded her in death on April 13, 2022.

Barbara was a homemaker and a member of the Beulah Harvest Church. She enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family and friends will always remember her wonderful sense of humor.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; and two sisters, Linda Scaggs and Carol Stevens.

Survivors include two daughters, Kim Inyart and husband, Tony and Lori Caudell all of Sumner, Illinois; two grandsons, Clint Inyart and wife, Sara and Colby Inyart and wife, Katie; four great-grandchildren, Hunter Snow, Brystol Snow, George Inyart, and Everleigh Inyart; and the anticipated arrival of a fifth great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 10:00am CDT at the Antioch Cemetery. There is no visitation. Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society. The Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
