Barbara "Bobbie" Ann Jerrell

Barbara "Bobbie" Ann Jerrell, Vincennes, Indiana, formerly of Lawrenceville, Illinois, age 90, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Fox Ridge Assisted Living, Vincennes. Bobbie was born on November 21, 1932 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois to Homer and Gladys Miskell. Bobbie married Robert Lee (Bob) Jerrell on August 27, 1949. They were married for 43 years, until his death in 1993.

Bobbie worked as a homemaker, waitress (The Candlelight), housekeeper, and sales associate (Oscar's) throughout her life. Bobbie greatly enjoyed spending time with her sisters, until their passing. Bobbie's life revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, and one brother.

Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Debra (Jim) Schlichte, Vincennes; her son, Rick (Jeanne) Jerrell, Lawrenceville; granddaughter, Kourtney (Bob) Coffman, Robinson; grandson, Anthony Jerrell, Lawrenceville; and four great-granddaughters, Jerika, Shara, Taylor, and Karmyn.

A private service will be conducted at Lawrenceville City Cemetery at a later date. Monetary donations may be sent to Fox Ridge Assisted Living, Vincennes, Indiana in memory of Bobbie.
