Audrey M. Mcbride

Biography Audrey M. McBride age 85 of Lawrenceville, IL. died Saturday morning at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Gillespie, Illinois. She was born March 21, 1926 in Lukin Township, IL to Grover and Edith (Thompson) Tucker. She was married to William C. McBride and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Reyschia Barton. Audrey was a retired nurse. She worked at the Pine Lawn Nursing Home and Cotillion Ridge Nursing Home as director of nursing. In later years she worked as a private duty nurse. Prior to becoming a nurse she owned and operated several eating establishments. She was a member of the Bee Branch Church east of Pinkstaff where she was a very active member. She is survived by two sons Gregory ( Deona ) Dugger of Sumner, IL and Mark ( Elaine) Dugger of Greenfield, IL. One daughter survives Kim (Pete) Bertino of Gillespie, IL One sister Maxine Gilmore of Salt Lake City, Utah also survives. Surviving are 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren also survive. The funeral will be Wednesday morning 10: a.m. at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, IL. Visitation will be Tuesday evening 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Cresthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Bee Branch Church.
