April L. Couch

April L. Couch, age 54, of Mount Carmel, Illinois passed away at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana on September 16, 2019. She was born August 1, 1965 in Normal, Illinois, the daughter of David E. and Kathleen (Haag) Wilson. April worked in home health care. She enjoyed horseback riding and embroidery. Preceding her in death were her parents. Survivors include one sister, Connie Welch and husband, Carl, of Sibley, Illinois; friend, Mike Mason, of Sumner, Illinois; one uncle, Herman S. Haag, of Newark, Ohio; two aunts, Rebecca H. Taylor and husband, Tom, of Pekin, Illinois, Bethany S. Huber and husband, George, of Titusville, Florida; two cousins, Kimberly S. Thomas and husband, Steve, of Glasford, Illinois, and Kenneth M. Bilek and wife, Stephanie, of Monticello, Illinois. There will be no formal services; her final wishes were to be cremated. Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
