Alice M. Brashear, age 82, of Bridgeport, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at her residence. She was born on June 11, 1940 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond and Thelma (Green) Shoulders. She married Fred Brashear, Sr. on July 16, 1958, and he preceded her in death on August 08, 1997.
Alice was a department manager at Walmart for 30 plus years.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Fred Brashear, Sr.; one son, Fred Brashear, Jr.; two brothers; and six sisters.
Survivors include three children, Sandy Farlow and husband, Doug of Bridgeport, Illinois, Becky Wells of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Beth Ann Snyder and husband, Duewayne of Bridgeport, Illinois; one sister, Linda Cooley and husband, Woody of Lawrenceville, Illinois; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM CDT at the Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
