Ty Warner Obituary

Ty G. Warner, 40, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born August 7, 1977 in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of Garry and Brenda (Lancaster) Warner. He married Kristi Stover on September 27, 1997 and she survives.

Ty had an Associate Degree in Agriculture from Wabash Valley College, as well as an Associate Degree in Telecommunications from Lincoln Trail College. He worked on the family farm with his father and Uncle Larry, as a farmer and truck driver. He was a member of the Pinkstaff United Methodist Church. His hobbies included coaching and watching his daughter play softball, boating and water skiing with his father, riding 4-wheelers, and hunting. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Preceding him in death was his father, Garry; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Sue Warner; and maternal grandparents, Randall and Myrtle Lancaster.

Survivors include his mother, Brenda; wife, Kristi; daughter, Clovis ‘Cloey'; two sisters, Tracy Cozart and husband, Charles, Jr., of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Tricia Stovall of Lawrenceville, Illinois; nieces and nephew, Ashley Cozart, Michael Cozart, Katie Stovall, and Sarah Stovall; uncle, Larry Warner of Lawrenceville, Illinois; mother-in-law, Patty Carter and husband, Mike of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and father-in-law, Allan Stover of Sumner, Illinois.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Derr Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ty's memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
